A plan that is based upon the simplistic philosophy of an ancient Chinese proverb that says: "Give a man a fish, and he eats for a day. But teach a man to fish, and he (and his family), eat for a lifetime." Poverty and homelessness will not end if we continue to enable our nation's most vulnerable by giving them money, food, and shelter. But teach them how to be productive where they can earn money, buy food and shelter... and they will "eat for a lifetime."

There needs to be a nationwide collective change of HEART, MIND, and SOUL with a national PRIORITIES ADJUSTMENT if we are ever to eradicate poverty and homelessness. To be clear, poverty and homelessness are not money problems. Think about it for a minute. We as a nation spend hundreds of billions of dollars on inner and outer space, research, development, cures on various diseases, our military....yet we haven't coordinated our collective efforts , and billions, to end poverty and homelessness in America. WHY? With a collective, nationwide change of HEART, MIND, SOUL, and PRIORITIES America can do anything...even eradicate poverty for the 37.9 million Americans who deserve a chance to live in peace with dignity.

Choose Charities Corp is dedicated to providing separate, specialized facilities to serve our nation's homeless citizens and veterans. The Citizens Quarters will support poverty-stricken and homeless citizens, while The VETS Quarters will cater to our veterans, recognizing the unique experiences they bring Our long-term vision for each facility involves residents actively participating in their operation and management, guided by local professionals. Our mission extends to creating and managing facilities where the 37.9 million poverty-stricken and homeless Americans can access essential financial, medical, psychological, occupational, and life resources. These homes are overseen by dedicated professionals, committed to a coordinated, sustainable process that offers dignity, love, and understanding to all who share our vision of ending poverty and homelessness in America.

Our vision, is to provide safe havens in the areas of our country that are most effected by poverty, and homelessness. Local, area, regional, and national support professionals will be needed to create a cohesive, checks and balance system where our safe haven staff and professionals can find the support, and assistance necessary to help guide, and counsel our nations poverty stricken and most vulnerable citizens. All the staff and professionals working at our safe havens will be overseen, guided, and supported by our Choose Charities’ Board Members through their guidance via established bylaws, rules, checks and balances created for the sole purpose of continuity, and cohesion in the sustainable management , and operation of our safe havens.

The President’s Budget request to congress for funding HUD (Department of Housing and Urban Development), the governmental agency responsible for addressing the needs of poverty stricken and homeless Americans, in 2022 was $68.7 billion dollars, in 2023 was $71.9 billion dollars, and in 2024 the request is $73.3 billion dollars. Given the herculean task at stack of ending poverty and homelessness in America, $68.7 to $73.3 billion dollars is a good start… In a recent article published on LinkedIn dated March 21, 2023, the amount of $175 billion dollars was mentioned as just about enough to lift everyone out of poverty in America. Which is approximately the amount of taxes owed by the top 1% of income earners in the US, and the suggestion was made if the top 1% of income earners would just pay the taxes owed we could potentially end poverty in America. Hence, reaffirming the idea that poverty and homelessness in America is not a money problem, it’s a HEART, MIND, and SOUL issue coupled with a PRIORITIES ADJUSTMENT from all Americans far and wide.

Our nonprofit has designed dynamic marketing programs for Chase Bank, PGA Tour, and even Nike to name but a few that’ll enhance the stature and bottom line of these organizations, and will sustainably raise millions, if not hundreds of millions for our nation’s poverty stricken and homeless citizens and veterans. Our structure is to have professional board members who have expertise in the above mentioned fields, and professions, who will have oversight responsibilities in their particular field of endeavor, and will guide and assist those professionals who work in our safe havens across the country. An estimated $25 billion dollars will initially be needed to support a nationwide network of safe havens. From houses, to under performing hotels, motels, even redesigned office buildings, and like structures. Choose Charities Corp will purchase, lease, co-own or rent these facilities that will be necessary to provide shelter, food, and living support for those who live there. Coordinated cooperation, and support will be needed from the housing, hotel, and office building business sector to form a cohesive, sustainable blueprint that'll benefit all parties involved, as well as governmental tax and financial incentives to the companies who choose to provide these structures needed to sustain longevity of our mission
